History Of The Greater Knox Classic
- Inaugural show, held at the historic Bijou Theatre, we had 74 competitors from six different states and sold out the venue with 725 seats.
- We moved our second show to the larger venue of Bearden H.S. auditorium which seated 1100, of which we sold over 950 tickets. We increased to 81 competitors and had a tremendous professional guest poser in Mat DuVal.
- Once again held at Bearden H.S. , we had a record number of competitors with 89, representing seven different states. We sold over 1000 tickets and had a full house once again!! It was the most energetic and fun show to date!!
- After a year’s absence, the Greater Knox Classic came back bigger, and better, than ever! We moved our venue to the newly renovated music hall, the John Cox Auditorium on the campus of UT and sold out the 940 seat hall. Once again, we had a record number of competitors with 95 competing!
- With a record number of 104 competitors, the Greater Knox Classic once again sold out the 940 seat John Cox Auditorium! Competitors and their supporters came from several states to see this awesome show.
- With our great sponsors help, the best GREATER KNOX yet……..
